I received for Christmas the "Trust" DVD and I enjoy it a lot far
different from "Render" but I really dig it Did you had the chance to

Oh yes, there is a music store here in Huntsville that has Ani CD's the day
they come out,its called FYE music (Best Buy and Sam Goody never get them
till weeks after they come out). So only naturally they had both dvd on
there day of release.

But I think you right, Render was more for people who didn't know about
Ani, I was like a quick jump update. But I havn't seen Ani since she came to
Birmingham last about 3 years ago. So with that, Trust was god for me
because I just havn't seen Ani in a LONG time.

Yes Ian
I see your point, what I like in "Render" is that Ani is using her
name to expose some good ideas like beeing independent form the Major
coƶanies and the Human rights that represent for me a surprise the
first time I saw the DVD.

On the other hand I never had the chance to see Ani live (I'm living in
the east part of France) so for me "Trust" is a real good opportunity:
Specially to see her playing in a small group settings show much more
her ability to develop a fantastic intimacy (correct spelling ?) with
the audience, I like that.

See us later

At first I thought that Trust was not that great. I'm not sure if it
was the Ani plus that guy thing or what but the first time I watched it
I was uninterested. Then I broke it out a few weeks ago and watched a
couple tunes from the performance and sort of got into it. I guess I
really find it difficult to watch concert videos in their entirity. I
guess that is why I enjoyed Render right from the start, although I
must admit that at times they cut tunes right as I was digging their
vibe. Overall I dig Danny Clinch as a cinematographer so props to that
on Trust. I especially enjoyed the cuts from backstage warm-ups to
onstage performance.

Looking forward to the new release. Hopefully some peeps will buzz in
then.

Peace,
Meg

I wouldn't worry about it, right now, you're nearly an "onlie" on
here. Don't sweat it, and thanks for posting some Ani content.
